I have been having a recurring issue with the Gemini Agent in Android Studio for several weeks.
The error I receive is:
The server encountered a resource exhausted error. This is likely due to the number of requests issued reaching your quota.
The problem is that I have Gemini for Business enabled, and according to my quota/usage dashboard I am not even close to the limit.
This has been happening for weeks. On some days the agent works for a few minutes, but then the same error comes back and I cannot continue using it. It does not look like a normal quota issue from my side.
I have also seen other users reporting similar behavior, so I am wondering if this could be a server-side issue, a hidden rate limit, or a problem with how Android Studio is using the Gemini quota.
Could someone from Google please clarify:
