I used to be able to access Google AI Studio without any issues, but recently I can no longer enter the site. Every time I try to open AI Studio, I am automatically redirected to this page: https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/available-region
I have not changed anything in my account settings, region, or browser environment. The access simply stopped working unexpectedly.
Could you please help me understand why this is happening and how I can restore access to AI Studio?

It sounds like your account is now being restricted due to regional availability changes for AI Studio and the Gemini API. Access is only supported in the regions listed on the Available regions page, and if your account’s location is outside those regions, the service will redirect you there.
If you are physically in a supported region but still seeing the redirect, check your Google account’s country setting under Google Account > Payments & subscriptions > Manage settings, as location metadata tied to your profile can affect access.
Please confirm if you have verified your age (18+) on your google account’s personal page and Ai studio is available in your region. Additionally, check if your account is managed (school/company) or restricted by a Family Group administrator??

if the email DOB isn’t enough for age verification, then just tell the truth that you cannot serve everyone because you don’t have the capacity. you will loss to al the chinese labs with this nonsense.
