Manual Review Request – Error 403 PERMISSION_DENIED in Gemini API

Hello Google Gemini API Team,

I would like to request a manual review of Gemini API access for my account/project.

When attempting to use the Gemini API from n8n to generate content, I constantly receive the following error:

HTTP 403 PERMISSION_DENIED
“Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”

I have already verified the following:

  • Gemini API / Generative Language API is enabled in Google Cloud.
  • The project was created specifically for this integration.
  • The API key was created within this project.
  • The credential in n8n validates successfully: “Connection tested successfully”.
  • The error occurs when making the actual call to generateContent.
  • I tested with Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite.
  • The Google account has 2-step verification enabled.
  • It has an associated phone number.
  • The date of birth is properly configured.
  • The project is visible and manageable in Google Cloud.
  • The same type of error also occurred previously in another project.

The intended use is low-volume internal automation for Datta Verde.

Gemini will analyze commercial messages received via WhatsApp to extract structured customer information and update a Google Sheets spreadsheet using n8n.

At the moment, I wish to use the free tier of the Gemini API without enabling paid billing.

Could you please manually check if there is any access restriction to the Gemini API at my account or project level and, if it was blocked by mistake, restore access?
