Request for Manual Review: 403 PERMISSION_DENIED on Gemini API (Your project has been denied access)

Hello Gemini API Team / DevRel,

I am requesting a manual review and unblocking of Gemini API access for my personal Google Cloud Project.

I am trying to use the Gemini API (specifically the gemini-3.5-flash model within my n8n workflow) on the Free Tier, but all my API calls fail with the following error:
403 PERMISSION_DENIED: “Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”

Project Details:

  • Project Number: 693233727..
  • Account Type: Personal Gmail Account (Non-Workspace)

I have verified the following:

  1. The Generative Language API is fully enabled in my Google Cloud Console.
  2. My Google account is a standard, personal Gmail account and is in good standing.
  3. Two-Step Verification (2SV) is active, and my phone number is fully verified on this Google Account.
  4. I am using the Free Tier and do not have an active billing account linked.

Since this block seems to be a false positive triggered by an automated risk classifier, could someone from the team please manually inspect my project and restore Gemini API access?

Hi @siyamak_Darkale Please try the below steps:

  1. Check Model Availability & Rate Limits:

    • Ensure that the model you are requesting is available on your current plan. For example, not all models are available on the free tier. You can verify model availability, quotas, and limits on the AI Studio Rate Limit dashboard.

  2. Verify your Google Account:

  3. Upgrade to a Paid Tier:

    • If verifying your account does not restore access (or if using a model requiring a paid tier), you can unlock access by adding prepayment credits directly in Google AI Studio or attaching a Google Cloud Billing account in the Google Cloud Console.
