Request for manual review — Gemini API 403 PERMISSION_DENIED for project mirai-lab-workspace-ops

Hello Google AI Developers team,

I am requesting a manual review of Gemini API access for the following Google Cloud project:

  • Project ID: mirai-lab-workspace-ops
  • Project number: 80997451453..
  • API: Gemini API (generativelanguage.googleapis.com), enabled in Google Cloud Console
  • Endpoint/model: v1beta/models/gemini-3.6-flash:generateContent

Observed result:

  • HTTP status: 403
  • Error status: PERMISSION_DENIED
  • Error message: Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.

The issue reproduces with a newly created Gemini API key associated with this project. In Google AI Studio, the project’s API key entry is shown as unavailable, with an option to set up billing. Neither Google Cloud Console nor Google AI Studio currently shows an appeal, review, or remediation path.

Could you please review this project’s Gemini API access and advise:

  1. Whether the project is restricted or denied at an account/project entitlement level.
  2. The reason for the restriction, if it can be disclosed.
  3. The required steps to restore Gemini API access.
