‏⁠Request: Allowlist Access for Gemini 3.1 & 3 Preview Models in Vertex AI⁠

Hello Google AI Team,

I would like to request allowlist access for my Vertex AI project to enable the Gemini 3 Preview models.

Models Requested:

  • gemini-3.1-flash-lite-preview
  • gemini-3.1-pro-preview
  • gemini-3-flash-preview

Project Information:

  • Project ID: arctic-robot-496920-..
  • Use Case: Developing “Almonjez Pro,” an AI-powered document automation, formatting, and professional translation platform. We need the speed and cost-efficiency of the 3.1 Flash Lite model to handle high-volume text generation in our backend.
  • Current Status: I am receiving a 404 NOT_FOUND error when attempting to call the model via the SDK:
    Error 404, Message: Publisher Model projects/arctic-robot-496920-d0/locations/us-central1/publishers/google/models/gemini-3.1-flash-lite-preview was not found or your project does not have access to it.

Technical Setup:

  • SDK: Vertex AI via Python SDK (using the new google-genai package)
  • Authentication: Service Account JSON with Editor / Vertex AI User roles
  • Region: us-central1
