Request: Allowlist Access for Gemini 3 Preview Models in Vertex AI

Hello Google AI Team,

I would like to request allowlist access for my Vertex AI project to enable the Gemini 3 Preview models.

Models:

  • gemini-3-flash-preview

  • gemini-3.1-pro-preview

  • gemini-3.1-flash-lite-preview

Project Information:

  • Use Case: Developing an AI-powered IDE and an AI-assisted creative writing application for novels.

Current Status: I am receiving a 404 NOT_FOUND error when attempting to call the model via the SDK: Error 404, Message: Publisher Model projects/novel-gemini-489715/locations/us-central1/publishers/google/models/gemini-3-flash-preview was not found or your project does not have access to it.

  • Region: us-central1

  • Use Case: AI-powered event flyer generation for an event ticketing platform. The feature allows event organizers to generate and iterate on promotional flyers using a chat interface, with the model producing styled poster images

  • Environment: Active development, targeting production deployment.
    Current Status:
    Receiving 404 NOT_FOUND when calling the model via @google/genai Node.js SDK with service account authentication:

  • Auth: Service account JSON with Vertex AI User role
