Thank you all again for participating in the Gemini API Developer Competition! We were truly blown away by the creativity and innovation on display in your submissions.
I appreciate your patience as we’ve worked diligently to launch this voting page. Please note that we’ve honored the integrity of your original submissions, preserving everything (I could not possibly go through all submissions and check for any typos, misspellings, or formatting). While I’ve done my best to filter out spam and invalid entries, if you come across any during voting, please let me know the app name so I can address it.
Now, the exciting part! Voting for the public is officially open! Remember this is for the People’s Choice Award not any other award Head over to ai.google.dev/competition/vote to cast your votes and explore the amazing projects built by your fellow developers.
Have fun exploring and voting! Share some of your favorites here. I’ll be sending an email soon so check your inbox.
Hello @Lloyd_Hightower , I just wanted to express my gratitude for all the hard work. The process was impressively fast and efficient, especially considering the large number of submissions. Great job! Could you clarify what the email you’re about to send is regarding? Also, do you think the winners might be announced by the end of September?
I appreciate the effort you’ve put into the voting page. One thing to add: my app name is PerObe AI. It’s a web app, but I forgot to select the web option in the form. I’ve also mentioned in the video that it’s a web app. Is there any way it can be modified?
Gotcha I saw you sent this note to me early on. It wont reflect on the site but ill make sure it gets judged in both categories since nothing changed about your submission just developer tools used category.
Sending email with your unique URL. End of Sept hopefully for winners, but more than likely early to late October. I want the judges to take their time and not rush to select a winner.
Also again please let me know if you or anyone finds a spam submission… after looking at thousands of entries some might have slipped through the cracks.
