I signed up for the Google AI Studio Pro subscription expecting a smooth workflow, but I’ve spent the last two days hitting hard daily limits and getting completely blocked from building anything with both Gemini 3.6 Flash and Gemini 3.1 Pro. The last time the system actually let me write a single line of code was Friday night (July 24th), and it’s now Sunday morning (26 th) with zero progress in sight.
At this point, I’m genuinely trying to figure out the value of a paid tier if the developer agent freezes the second you try to do any real work. Google’s marketing team: “Build full-stack apps in minutes with Gemini!” Google in reality: “You generated two components, now go think about what you’ve done until Monday.” It feels like I’m paying a monthly fee just to unlock higher-tier error messages and forced weekend breaks…
