I’m also on a Pro Plan. I felt very okay with the “5-hour quota refresh” and almost never reached the limit. (I was often between 40% and 60% and randomly switched between the Pro- and Flash-Gemini-Model, depending on the Task it had to do.)
And I also never “misused” it on third-party Clients. I stayed within the whole Google ecosystem all the time.
And now, I have to wait for days, until the quotas will get refreshed? Is that a bad joke or what?
Why are the paying users punished like that? “Punish” the free tier plan, if you have not enough capacity. But treat your paying customers as what they are: They are actually PAYING for your service! They do not complain about a “free” service limitation or the like.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We have escalated the issue to our internal teams for a thorough investigation and we appreciate your patience as we work toward a resolution.
This happened to me as well. I use Opus at work, today I haven’t been able to work with it and I can’t cait for the 72 hour cooldown. Is there any way for someone to manually check and fix my account?
Thank you.
*Currently using Gemini for essentials only as I see other users getting Gemini locked as well.
Third time in a row (since the launch of 3.1 Pro) that this has happened to me as well. I’m honestly done with the lack of trasparency, it’s mind blowing for a company this size when they have actual paying users lamenting the issue for a month
It’s weird because I was on the trial version of pro and it worked great. 5 hour refreshes and very good limits. At 11:35 AM today I got charged for the first time for the pro plan and at 14:30 I made 4-5 requests with the normal chat only after using antigravity Friday for the last time and I got the limit exceeded message with 20 hours refresh time. So it seems something happens when you pay. They don’t like it
I signed up for a Pro account and was working with a single agent to solve a problem, ran out of quota in less than 30 minutes. I’m cancelling the plan because that’s just ridiculous.
I am having an issue with the antigravity quota too.
The subscription instructions state a five-hour limit ( Google Antigravity ):
Users on Google AI Pro receive:
High, generous quota, refreshed every five hours
Higher weekly rate limit
Unfortunately, the five-hour limit did not apply to me, and after about an hour, the weekly limit was applied. I would expect that my quota would be used up and then refreshed after five hours, which did not happen.
Can any of you guys suggest what tools you all are using during the ridiculous 7 days lockout? I am hitting weekly limit after using it for just 1 hour or so.
I switched from Cursor to Antigravity, but now on my paid plan I have to wait a week for my limits to reset — this is complete nonsense! The limits are much lower than on Cursor. I’m planning to cancel my subscription and go back to Cursor, or switch to GitHub Copilot, or just use plugins.
Same here. This is an absolute joke. I’ve been kick out of basic chat sessions twice today. This morning, I was putting together a little protocol for work (1 1/3 pages) and I got switched over to Flash who then did something I did NOT ask for, literally threw away my work and lost it. Insane. LOST MY WORK. I used to defend Gemini and Google but I’m done.
Antigravity is now completely unusable. The 1000 monthly AI credits they added were more than half used up in a single debugging prompt that took 7 minutes to complete, and now I’m getting rate-limited for Gemini Pro in /CHAT/ in the Gemini app. It’s fucking retarded, and if they don’t fix this in the next couple of weeks, I’m cancelling my subscription before it can renew next month.
To provide you with greater control and a seamless path to scale, we are evolving our Google AI plans by introducing built-in AI credits that can now be utilized directly within Antigravity. Under this updated structure, our Google AI Pro tier is tailored for practical builders, offering generous limits for Gemini Flash alongside a baseline quota to experience our most advanced premium models. For developers operating at the highest scale who require consistent, high-volume access to our most complex models, Google AI Ultra serves as the ideal comprehensive solution.
Furthermore, we’ve designed these plans with maximum flexibility in mind; if you are on the Pro plan and require additional capacity or deeper premium access for intensive development sprints, you can seamlessly top up your AI credits to customize your limits and continue shipping your best work without interruption.
If this is the case can you explain why, my quota hit a 7 day lock out and after waiting 7 days it didn’t refresh and just added a further 7 days even though I had not used it? I am almost 2 weeks waiting for my Gemini pro and Claude quota to refresh. I was planning on trying out Pro plan and then upgrading to Ultra but I am hesitant now due to the lack of clarity - I understand quota limits but 2 weeks to refresh seems ridiculous?
The ‘greater control’ line is just condescending. Surely people working at the ‘highest scale’ are already using Ultra.
The fact that pro users can be locked out for a week after running a debugging exercise is laughable.
When we subscribed, the 5 hour refresh was a major selling factor. Shifting that to a week is like giving the middle finger to smaller developers.
