Paid in GCP but AI Studio API still locked with "No available credits" (Billing Sync Bug)

Hi Google AI Team,

I am experiencing the known billing sync issue between Google Cloud Billing and Google AI Studio, and it has completely blocked my development.

My GCP Billing Account is fully active and healthy. I have already set it up and it even shows a positive credit balance (you can see the -$9.96 in the attached GCP screenshot).

However, Google AI Studio is completely out of sync. My project is stuck on the “Action needed” and “No available credits” warning. The API simply won’t work.

I have tried everything on my end:

  • Waiting for several days.
  • Creating brand new projects.
  • Generating new API keys.
    None of these work because the underlying sync from GCP to AI Studio is broken. GCP Support mentioned they don’t have access to AI Studio systems and told me to request manual intervention here.

Could an engineer please check the database and manually sync/refresh my account status?
