Nano Banana Pro in Flow: False policy violation on normal commercial portrait prompts

Hello,

I am a Google AI Pro subscriber using Google Flow with Nano Banana Pro.

Since 15 July 2026, I am getting “This generation might violate our policies” on harmless commercial portrait prompts.

Examples that WORK:

  • A red apple on a white background.
  • Portrait of a smiling woman on a white background.

Examples that FAIL:

  • Portrait of a smiling woman holding a notebook.
  • Businesswoman in a modern office.
  • Woman holding books.
  • Farmer in a wheat field.
  • Couple portrait.

These are normal commercial stock photography prompts without violence, politics, sexual content, or harmful requests.

I have already tried:

  • New Flow projects
  • Short prompts
  • Incognito mode
  • Different wording
  • Waiting until the next day

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue with Nano Banana Pro in Flow?

Yeah, I have this all the time. I think it is a glitch. you may have to reword your prompt to get it working again
