My Google AI Studio is having problems. It suddenly stopped working, displaying an error message saying my region or age is not supported. It was working perfectly before. I’m in the US, and I’ve added a paying credit card and verified my age. I don’t know what’s causing this. Please help me; it’s very important to my work.

That “region or age not supported” message usually appears when your Google account fails the eligibility check that AI Studio runs against your profile settings. Even if you’re physically in the US, AI Studio relies on the country and age information from your Google Account > Payments profile and your personal info page, not your IP address. If either field was recently changed, or if you switched to a Workspace account with restricted age settings, access can be blocked.

Confirm that your Google Account’s country is set to the United States and that your birthdate shows you’re over 18. In the Cloud Console, verify that your billing account is active and in good standing under Billing > Payment overview. If those values look correct, sign out of all Google accounts, clear cookies, and sign back in with the account tied to your AI Studio project. If the message persists, open a support case from AI Studio > Help > Send feedback since account-level enforcement must be reviewed by the product team directly.
