Has anyone else noticed that the edit option for the response is gone? I came back to use it after a while and just realized it’s not there anymore.
I’m usually too lazy to explain a task over and over when the model doesn’t get it, so I would just paste my own corrected version over the original one. And, the option’s disappearance has made things a bit of a hassle for me.
It would be awesome if you guys could add that option back. For my workflow, it’s honestly a must-have.

this bug, It happened to me just today, I can get it the options back by clicking the message then press tab
What a perfect encapsulation of the “Modified by moderator” that google has become. This is an intermittent bug that should never have been. For me, it’s currently manifesting as a limit—I can edit my own messages one time (never the AI response) and then the edit button disappears like it was never there. The comment above mine (to press tab) did not work for me.
I pay for this product too! I pay to be abused by google’s absolute inability to get their together on anything. It’s wild, everything big tech does is dogshit.
