How to check current usage of Gemini CLI quota?

I am using the Gemini CLI with “auth” authorization, which is just going off my gmail account. I am not using it with a free or paid API. (Note: I am a Gemini Pro subscriber).

As I understand it, users get 1000 requests per day (60 per minute) and I think I read that Gemini Pro users get 1500 requests per day. The problem is that I am reaching my quota limit for 2.5 Pro very quickly and get reverted to 2.5 Flash. And I can’t find a place to actually check my usage. I’ve used the Google Cloud console to track my API usage, but it doesn’t seem to have usage info for Gemini Code Assist usage or I’m just missing it.

How can I check my current Gemini Code Assist usage and am I right that I should be getting 1000/1500 (with Pro) requests per day? Thanks!

I am also a Gemini Pro user, using the auth option, and I have also been trying to find where I can track quota usage. I have no idea how far along I am and how close I am to being throttled back to Flash. It’s a bit unnerving.

Hi @Eric_Livingston @William_Kelley
Thanks for your question. While I’d love to help, this forum is dedicated to the Gemini API and Google AI Studio. Can you post this in Gemini CLI github repo GitHub · Where software is built. I think they are better qualified to assist you.
