Google Stitch fails to generate UI preview and throws an unexpected error

Hello team,

I am experiencing an issue in Stitch where the screen design and preview fail to generate properly after giving a prompt. The processing gets stuck or displays a generation error.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a project workspace in Stitch.
  2. Submit a prompt for UI design or frontend code.
  3. The generation process fails or stays stuck without rendering the screen.

System / Environment:

  • Device: Mobile / Desktop Browser

I’ve been experiencing the exact same issue for days now.

I’m using Google Stitch to build interfaces, and every time I give it an edit prompt, it replies with “Element edited,” but it doesn’t actually do anything at all.

I even tried giving it a simple prompt like “Explicitly confirm that you are ready to make the changes,” and no luck it just gives me “An unexpected error has occurred.”

Something is wrong… is anyone else running into these problems?"
