Hey,
CRITICAL BUG / OAUTH LOCK:
My previously linked GitHub account has been permanently suspended/blocked. Because the account is inaccessible, I cannot log into GitHub to revoke the OAuth application from GitHub’s settings.
Google AI Studio does not offer a UI button to log out of GitHub or disconnect the OAuth integration globally from my Google profile. Every new app or project created under this paid account automatically reuses the dead GitHub credentials and fails (OAuth loop / “The GitHub repository already exists”).
TROUBLESHOOTING ALREADY PERFORMED (ALL FAILED):
- Removed all third-party connections and permissions from Google Account (myaccount.google.com/permissions and Google Connections).
- Tested in clean browser profiles, Incognito windows, and cleared all browser cache/cookies/IndexedDB/site data.
- Unlinked repositories via the broken chain icon inside the AI Studio GitHub sync panel (it immediately falls back to the old user on the next sync attempt across any repository).
- Completely shut down and deleted the underlying Google Cloud project. Even when AI Studio creates a new Cloud project, the user profile in AI Studio still retains the old GitHub OAuth token.
- Installed and authorized the official Google AI Studio GitHub App directly from the new GitHub account with active sessions, but AI Studio refuses to initiate the OAuth handshake to overwrite the token.
REQUEST:
Please manually purge, clear, or invalidate the stored GitHub OAuth credentials/token associated with this Google user account on your backend so that AI Studio prompts for a fresh GitHub authentication with my new account.
Thanks!
A.Buch
