I am locked in a broken authentication sync loop between Google AI Studio and GitHub. After manually removing/revoking the Google AI Studio application permissions directly from my personal GitHub settings (vatsal..), the Google AI Studio backend failed to register the revocation.
The web interface is now permanently stuck on a backend permissions error screen. Because it is trying to evaluate an old, deleted OAuth token, it completely hides the blue “Sign in to GitHub” button. This prevents me from triggering a clean re-authorization handshake.
Error Messages Encountered:
-
“Sync to GitHub: [username]/[repo] on main. Failed to load file differences.”
-
“Something went wrong. Failed to create GitHub repository, Insufficient permissions to create the GitHub repository. Please check your permissions for the AI Studio App on GitHub.”
