Issue Description: I am experiencing a UI/Integration loop in Google AI Studio where the GitHub connection is stuck on a specific repository and failing to sync, with no option to switch or re-select.
Steps Taken:
Initial Connection: Successfully linked my GitHub account to Google AI Studio.
Repo Selection: During the setup, I created a new repository via the AI Studio prompt with a temporary name.
Sync Failure: After selection, the GitHub tab displays a “Failed to load changes” error. This persists even though I have verified all necessary GitHub permissions are granted.
UI Lock: The GitHub tab is now locked to this temporary repository. There is no visible option or button to “Change Repository,” “Disconnect,” or “Re-scan” for other repositories under my account.
Current State:
Error Message: “Failed to load changes.”
Desired Action: I want to delete the current temporary repository and link my original/correctly-named repository instead.
Blocker: The AI Studio UI does not provide a path to reset the repository selection or clear the cache of the failed connection.
Troubleshooting Performed:
Reauthorizing GitHub: I have attempted to resolve this by revoking the Google AI Studio access directly from my GitHub account settings and then re-authenticating. However, upon re-linking, Google AI Studio immediately defaults back to showing the old/temporary repository that was linked during the initial setup, effectively bypassing the repository selection screen.
