Google AI Studio Starter Tier is missing when I try to publish my app

Hello Google AI Studio team,

I am having an issue when trying to publish my full-stack application created with Google AI Studio Build Mode.

When I click Publish, I am taken to the “Confirm project and billing” step.

The only option shown is:

“Default Gemini Project”
“Billing not set up”

The only available actions are:

• Set up billing
• Refresh

There is no Google Cloud Starter Tier option.

I have already clicked Refresh several times, but nothing changed.

I have not previously published this application.

According to the official Google AI Studio documentation, the Google Cloud Starter Tier should allow eligible users to publish up to 2 full-stack applications without creating a Google Cloud project or enabling Cloud Billing.

I do not want to add a credit card or enable paid Cloud Billing just to publish this application.

Could you please check whether the Google Cloud Starter Tier deployment entitlement is available for my account and why the Starter Tier option is not appearing?

Not all accounts are eligible for The Starter Tier. Please check out the caveats mentioned in the Google AI Studio deployment documentation. Eligibility is determined automatically, and we cannot review Starter Tier access manually.

You might want to consider linking a Cloud Billing account to your project.
