I’m having an issue in Google AI Studio. The first time I linked my “Catálogo IA” project to GitHub, it attached to the repository diegomoita/Teste on the main branch. Later I removed or renamed that repository and created a new repository called “appai”. Now, when I click “Save to GitHub,” the panel still displays “diegomoita/Teste on main”, but there is no way to disconnect it or change the repository. Even when I click to log in, the Studio recognizes that I’m already connected to GitHub, yet the new repository doesn’t appear and it keeps trying to use the old one. I’ve confirmed that my GitHub account is authenticated (I can open the appai repository in another tab), but I can’t detach the previous repository in AI Studio to redo the connection.
Does anyone know how to remove this reference to the old repository and link the project to the new one?
Hi @Diego_Moita,
Welcome to the Google AI Forum!

You can try uninstalling the Google AI Studio app from my GitHub account (via the GitHub settings page) and then reconnecting it from the AI Studio platform. This should refresh your connection and hopefully resolve the issue.
Here is a thread related to log-in issues that has multiple steps to reset the connection. Following these instructions should help you resolve the issue.
This is my thread, and the “solutions” there aren’t working.
Hi! We are having the same issue. I tried completely deleting the app and revoke all access on github to start fresh, but when the connection is rebuilt in AI Studio (connect Github again from scratch) the project still links to the repository, so there is not solution for now.
I can only think in making a “detach“ feature, that should be mandatory already.
