I tried that already, but no luck. Even with a completely clean installation, the issue persists. I’m barely using the API this week (only making requests to gemini-3-flash), but after the reset, the 7-day restriction pops up again anyway. My system is totally clean and I’m only using one Google account.
Been a couple of weeks now where I have got 1 prompt on Opus and directly weekly lockout. And 2-4 prompts with 3.1-pro.
Last week I though it was fixed, I got 2 opus prompts in, and 5-6 pro prompts before weekly lockout.
It is insane, at work we use copilot, which for the pro version cost half of what I am paying here, and if you only use Opus-4.6, which is the most expensive, you get 100 prompts a month. Here I can not even get up to 10…. (and my prompts at work is much more complex and run longer)
This is so far from what was promised when sold that it likely is illegal in many regions
Hello everyone!
Thank you for bringing these concerns on quota issues to our attention. Please be assured that I have shared your feedback with our internal team for further review.
We appreciate your continued patience as we work to enhance the Antigravity experience.
I’m grateful you are even responding but this has been going on now for 2 months - we do see the attempts to give us access to the AI Credits, the ability to log into our GCP accounts (this is a really good update!!!) and yet most of us who use this professionally can’t trust it - and Gemini 3 Flash while good for quick easy tasks can’t execute on any heavy lifting tasks and be trusted. Please just let those who you are notifying know and help them understand that they are really losing out on an opportunity to really bring the development community fully into the Google AI world - it’s really going to bite you in the… long term.
Mine said 2hours and got reset from 40-60% and then said 6days for new refresh ![]()
why not using furthest?
It’s been two months since the first post about this issue, and as far as I know, there’s still been no official acknowledgment from Google. I ended up buying an extra 2,500 AI credits just to keep working, and honestly, that made me wonder if this isn’t a temporary bug but the new normal. I really hope I’m wrong, but using 3.1 Pro burns through credits pretty fast.
I’m also not sure how many AI credits an AI Pro subscriber actually gets, or what the real quota equivalent is. The subscription is €22/month, while an extra 2,500 credits cost €27, so I assume the values are somewhere in the same ballpark.
Right now, the only workable approach seems to be careful agent orchestration and being very deliberate about when to use Pro (high vs. low), planning mode, and fast mode together with Flash.
By the way, has anyone compared the burn rate and performance of Claude Code?
Look, I’m running Claude Code on two machines. I’m paying $20 per seat. In return, I get a 5 hour usage window that is pretty limited, but still efficient and predictable enough for real work.
Before this cooldown bug, I genuinely liked Antigravity. But with the current cooldown behavior, it’s becoming hard to rely on it in an actual workflow. So at this point I’m gradually migrating to Claude.
Honestly, that’s a shame. Antigravity used to be lightweight, convenient, and easy to integrate into my day to day flow.
i used to use anti just when i needed to get seal team six to roll in and accomplish the mission. like i didn’t use it unless i was back against the wall. but now its more like operation tropic thunder….
Same issue here, bumping this up +1
Third week of problem with AG, today it finally showed 5h and refreshed correctly…
Then it went haywire again with a 7d timer.
Why is the fix so slow ?
Are Google Devs locked out too ? At this point that’s the only excuse I’m willing to accept (with a month refund)
honestly - thats something i’ve considered - its not like the google team is only at mountainview and venicebeach - they have developers all over the world who don’t have the luxury of a mountainview/venicebeach sysadmin down the hall from them. with so many devs likely working from home as well, its entirely possible that they too are afflicted which can be a big hurdle.
i’ve said it a thousand times and i’ll say it again - its absolutely caused by the account identity mismatch, and the only workaround is to keep antigravity’s account access isolated either in a new default system browser or just use a whole new windows/mac/linux OS User Account for developing in Antigravity. (the bigint issue seems to also be playing a larger role across the googlesphere as well, though i am not 1000x % certain how deep that rabbit hole goes)
this is why they say, don’t mix personal life with business…
I’ve been a Google AI Pro subscriber, using Antigravity for coding — and over the past few months my effective output has dropped by roughly 90%.
I’m not exaggerating. The same workflows that used to run smoothly now hit limits almost immediately. What changed? Thinking tokens that burn through my quota invisibly, silent limit reductions with no prior notice, and resets that don’t actually reset when they’re supposed to.
When I subscribed, I was promised generous limits that only affect a “very small fraction of power users.” I am clearly a power user — I code with this thing all day. That promise feels hollow now.
I’ve been patient. I’ve read the forums. I see hundreds of developers with the same complaint. But after the March 2026 “evolving plans” update and the switch to AI Credits, I’ve officially lost trust in the pricing model.
I’m actively evaluating switching to Claude (Anthropic). Their pricing is transparent, their limits are clearly documented, and I’ve heard far fewer horror stories from developers about silent quota cuts.
Google, if you’re listening: developers don’t just need a powerful model — we need a reliable, honest product we can build on. Right now, Antigravity doesn’t feel like either.
i agree. i have been going through the same painful issues. every prompt hits the limit. it has wasted my time and this ide is very unreliable and too expensive.
Okay, an irritating observation (more than the limits being enforced randomly) is the quota manager.
At 01:28hrs, I was hoping for the Claude quota to refresh. I had 60% of the quota left and stopped using at 60%.
At 01:32hrs, I see the quota decrease (despite only using Gemini flash for the last 2 hours) but the cooldown has increased to 4 days and 23 hours
I’m on Google AI Pro. I am transitioning out of Anti Gravity slowly, but I really loved the IDE and had gotten used to it. ![]()
Right, It’s my favorite VS Code fork, they have some GREAT features like the Browser controls are amazing but they just can’t help but trip over the credits can they…
I faced the same issue today!
I have a Pro account. Yesterday I used only one bar of the “usage meter” for Gemini 3.1 and had around 2h to refresh. Went to sleep. Opened it right now and there it is! 5 DAYS to refresh!
I really like the IDE, but man, that is becoming unusable with this usage bug, or whatever it is. ![]()
This fiasco has been going on for more than two month now. Since then, Antigravity has even posted on X saying that the Pro subscription gives you a generous quota for Gemini 3 Flash, and that you can just sample the rest. And that is indeed all it does.
I no longer use those Antigravity agents, only my Claude subscription. I do not want to feel like I am having a stroke every day because of unfair terms and the complete lack of communication.
Do you still think this is a bug and not a feature?
Seems AI pro subscribers are stuck now since this issue has been open for more than 3 months.
One option is to upgrade to Ultra but I don’t see that happening if the Pro version couldn’t do what it promised
I’m an Ultra subscriber, do not upgrade bro) Right now it’s the same situation with quota. No support, no annauncements, just silent quota cut off
Thanks for the warning. @YNd Much appreciated
Right now, I’m not sure what to use, since I’ve heard similar stories from claude code users. Alternatively I could go back to the prehistoric age and code manually
or heaven forbid, copy and paste!
