Google AI Pro Subscription - Antigravity Quota Not Working as Advertised (10-Day Lockout Instead of 5-Hour Reset)

I am writing to report a critical issue with my Google AI Pro subscription and Antigravity quota management that is preventing me from using the service I am paying for.

Account Details:

  • Subscription: Google AI Pro (active )

  • Issue Start Date: January 22, 2026

  • Expected Reset Date: February 1, 2026, 3:36:33 PM

Problem Description:

I am experiencing a 10-day quota lockout in Antigravity, which contradicts the advertised 5-hour refresh cycle for Google AI Pro subscribers. According to the Pro plan benefits, my quota should reset every 5 hours. Instead, I have been locked out since January 22, 2026, with a reset date showing February 1, 2026 - a period of approximately 10 days.

What I Was Doing When Locked: I was performing a deep code analysis of a local repository (D:\code\claude-code-system-prompts) when I received the following error message:

“You have reached the quota limit for this model. You can resume using this model at 2/1/2026, 3:36:33 PM. You can upgrade to the Google AI Ultra plan to receive the highest rate limits.”

Expected Behavior: As a Google AI Pro subscriber, I should experience:

  • 5-hour quota refresh cycles

  • Higher rate limits than free tier users

  • Maximum wait time of approximately 5 hours if quota is exceeded

Actual Behavior:

  • 10-day lockout period (similar to free tier weekly limits)

  • Unable to access Antigravity despite active Pro subscription

  • Effectively being treated as a free-tier user

Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:

  1. Verified my Google AI Pro subscription is active

  2. Cleared Antigravity cached authentication data using: Remove-Item -Recurse -Force "$env:USERPROFILE\.antigravity"

  3. Signed out and back in to Antigravity

  4. Confirmed my account settings show “Your Plan: Google AI Pro”

Impact: This issue is severely impacting my development workflow. I am paying for a Pro subscription specifically to avoid long lockout periods, but I am receiving the same (or worse) experience as free-tier users. This makes the Pro subscription unusable for its intended purpose.

Request:

  1. Please investigate why my Pro subscription is not providing the advertised 5-hour refresh cycles

  2. Reset my quota immediately so I can resume work

  3. Provide clarification on whether this is a known bug affecting multiple Pro users

  4. Ensure my future quota limits follow the correct 5-hour refresh schedule

I have seen reports from other Pro subscribers experiencing similar issues (4-10 day lockouts instead of 5-hour resets), suggesting this may be a systemic problem with the quota management system.

Same here, i can’t figure what the cooldown is now. 3d, 5d, 5h… every quota reset is different.

Can we have an official statement by someone from google? It’s absurd this lacks of communications

Same issue here. Had been waiting for 6 days to reset. Yesterday, my limit was supposed to reset at about 10 pm but after literally 3 minutes, I got my quota hit the limit. I didn’t and couldn’t literally use the agent. I have to wait for another 6 days.

Same, after latest update, Antigravity Claude quote run out within 8 hours of work, and it ask me to wait 5 days. so people can just get hands tied and stop working for 5 days??? Google, are you making sense??

Similar issue I had a 6 day Claude cooldown jumping into another 7 day cooldown right after the 6 day cooldown finished. I didn’t even get to say “hi”…. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Same as everyone else. 5 day cool down after a roughly 5 hour cool down yesterday. I really enjoyed Antigravity before this shocking limit! Might just subscribe to Claude Pro in the meantime as 5 days is much too long when (trying to) working on a project.

This is getting stupid.

Today, as a pro user, I did not touch the claude models, but have received a lockout for days.

It’s even worse because the agent uses half the damn tokens trying to work out that it can’t use grep or head each time –despite a rules file that tells it not to.

Guys. We need this solved. We are all paying for the product and are unable to use it. I run a small project which is kinda paused for a few days already because of this issue. Any day longer is lost revenue.

weeks of cooldown after announcing 5 hours, specially after zero use of the model in a fresh start. What is happening? This must be fixed immediately!

Same issue here. Honestly, this is a massive red alert, all hands on deck issue.I literally can’t even believe as a paid user, this is not yet resolved.Third time I went into anti-gravity, and again it says I’m quota limited for another 3 days. I haven’t even used it in 7 days because of this. It just infinitely keeps saying your quota max even when you haven’t used it..
