Google AI Pro Subscription - Antigravity Quota Not Working as Advertised (10-Day Lockout Instead of 5-Hour Reset)

I have been considering moderately intensive agent-led development with an Ultra sub, using a custom UI to help orchestrate swarms of them (letting them click buttons and read things, not hijacking the API). I realize that I will keep bumping against limits on my current Pro subscription; I am exactly the target demographic for Ultra, as I want to automate my entire R&D process. However, the uncaring way in which Google seems to regard all private customers is pushing me to try Claude Code 20x first; it might be even more limited, but more transparent, trustworthy and modular with agent swarm solutions. I’m happy to pay real money to empower myself and my team, but I also want to know that my $250/mo would be buying something real, and Google doesn’t want to offer even a fig leaf of a reassurance.

I just registered for PRO, logged into the program, and got a 7-day ban ))) I couldn’t even do anything! Thank you, small indie studio, for releasing such a quality product.

Same problem here, sigh.

We appreciate you bringing your concerns regarding the quota to our attention. Please be assured that I have shared this feedback with our internal team.

As we balance giving the best possible quotas and maintaining fairness between users, especially under incredible demand, we’ve established weekly limits for all models. These limits do not apply to Google AI Ultra, which continues to be the best plan for power developers! See Google Antigravity for the latest.

Update – still locked out, conflicting reset times and unused models blocked (Google AI Pro)

Quick update on my situation with the Pro quota bug:

  • I’m still completely locked out of Antigravity, even though the UI previously said I’d be able to use agents again today.

  • I have not run any new agents or workflows since that earlier lockout message.

  • Despite that, my lockout has now been extended by another week and the system is telling me my ā€œbaseline quota will refresh on 3/4/2026, 11:35:22 AM.ā€

What’s especially confusing is that I’m seeing two conflicting messages at the same time:

  • The banner in the Agent Manager says:

ā€œModel quota reached. Your plan’s baseline quota will refresh on 3/4/2026, 11:35:22 AM. You can upgrade to the Google AI Ultra plan to receive the highest rate limits.ā€

  • The Models tab in Settings continues to show every model (Gemini 3.1 Pro High/Low, Gemini 3 Flash, Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.6, GPT‑OSS 120B) as ā€œRefreshes in 4 hours, 59 minā€ at that same moment.

I’ve attached a single screenshot showing:

  • Current system time in the macOS menu bar

  • The ā€œbaseline quota will refresh on 3/4/2026, 11:35:22 AMā€ banner

  • The Models panel simultaneously saying ā€œRefreshes in 4 hours, 59 minā€ for all models

A few more important details for context:

  • I am on Google AI Pro, not the free tier.

  • I have only used Gemini 3.1 Pro (High) and Claude Sonnet 4.6 lightly.

  • The other four models listed have never been used at all, yet they are also locked out.

  • I was already locked out before this new baseline‑date message appeared; I waited for the time Antigravity said I could use agents again, but nothing reset. Instead, a new week‑long lockout date was added.

Support has replied once acknowledging the issue and saying it was escalated, but so far there has been no manual reset, no fix, and no clarification. At this point it feels like my Pro account is being treated like a weekly‑capped/free‑tier account, with the UI showing stale ā€œ5‑hourā€ values that never actually take effect.

Could someone from the Antigravity team please:

  1. Confirm whether this conflicting‑reset behavior (5‑hour UI vs. multi‑day baseline date) is a known bug.

  2. Manually reset my quotas so I can actually use the product I’m paying for.

  3. Verify that my account is correctly recognized as Google AI Pro and should get the documented 5‑hour refresh, not multi‑day/weekly lockouts.

  4. Provide some kind of ETA or guidance for affected Pro users, since this is blocking real work and making it very hard to rely on Antigravity day‑to‑day.

So just to be clear, you are saying these usage limits we’re all seeing – where PRO and ULTRA paying customers get the same limits as free accounts and can only use 4-7 Claude prompts per week – this is an intentional weekly limit now?

That’s becoming really frustrating, i’m a ā€œproā€ subscriber

ive posted on this thread before, but following up again to reiterate that the limits on a Pro account are ridiculously low. very disappointed with how deceptive google has been in its response to this issue and its failure to address the issue. a Pro account is absolutely not worth it with the current limits. it used to be really good and I recommended it to coworkers. now, it’s not worth it at all. very sad situation

We just want transparency. We are grownups, we can understand quotas, demand, etc, but we paying customers need to know what is going on and how it works. For example I am locked out of GPT-OSS for a week and I haven’t even used it. It’s just not intuitive. The UI implies there are per-model quotas which seems to not be true, there seem to be ā€œcategory quotasā€ and if you’ve spent your quota you get locked out of multiple models in the category. It is also super unclear why I lost three models for a week and the other three are resetting on a more reasonable rolling schedule. Your post suggests that there is nothing wrong with how things work, it’s just load balancing by google. Well, I disagree, the system is actually faulty. I will be cancelling the Pro subscription and checking this forum back in a month or two to see if you guys have fixed the bugs and improved the UI and the clarity as to the terms.

My account was suppose to refresh, today and as soon as I went into the agent manager, I got another message saying I had to wait 7 days. Agents I’ve never used have an ā€˜eternal’ 5 hour refresh while Gemini Pro, both high and low, have the 7 day refresh. I don’t code, so I’ve been using the Gemini in Chrome Assistant as an extra set of eyes to help me prompt AntiGravity. For context, the AI assistant is aware of the situation since it first started Monday. When I shared the latest development with Antigravity regarding the refresh to the Gemini AI in Chrome and that we would have to temporarily use Cursor, the Gemini AI in Chrome threw shade at Anti Gravity :palm_tree::palm_tree::palm_tree:….

I think they are actively ignoring this thread.

I Have given up and kept using AG , mostly because i got 6 months for free.

The thing i realized, which makes (i think) google ignore all of us here on the forum, is that they, alphabet, have not committed the crime , strictly/legally speaking from which we are accusing them.

5 hour refresh != infinite refresh, and this is the thing. Its still false advertisement imho, and very nasty. Also not clearly communicating this is attrocius. But in the end its a big middle finger to all us together with ā€œwe didn’t say how much refreshing you were going to get .. wink winkā€

So ppl spare your breath, and your efforts. The only thing what is remotely feasible to nail them on, is false advertisements..

Just dont pay. And leave.

I personally will just see the pro account as what i bought it originally for and that was the online storage. For the rest, im trying to see it from the bright side which is i am forced to train/flex my coding skills again because i was getting pretty lazy…

Glen, that is not correct. 4-7 prompts isn’t reasonable measure as 1 prompt could be ā€œreview thisā€ and another could be ā€œbuild me an entire siteā€. I have had my access back for Claude on Friday evening and by Sunday evening - with some reasonable use I have another 5 day lock out. I am going to get a gemini 4 day lock out too - but I have done some significant work. In truth they should rename the PRO TIER the WEEKEND WARRIOR. It certainly isn’t pro.

I have the same issue. I am using Antigravity on my 2 laptops to edit remotlly file on my VPS. I’ve noticed that when I move from one laptop to the other ( closing the laptop) that I still have antigravity processes opened on my VPS. Only a server restart killed them.

I’ve closed the laptop and went for a walk. When I’ve comeback around 20:00 I’ve seen this:

so during the 6 hours, both laptop were cloase and all the tokens were consumed and many more. I have a PRO subscription.

I never used the Claude Opus or 3.1 Pro (Low). I was using only 3.1 Pro (High) and few pompts with Sonnet 4.6.

The alternative is to close the account and make another one. I am not planning to wait for 6 days.

If I would be Anthropic, based on a screen shot with this issue I would give 1 month free  for all the users of the PRO. That would be a good marketing strategy. … just kidding.

Now I am afraid to even open the app…

When I opened Antigravity, I saw that my agent usage had dropped to 40%, even though I haven’t used it for about 3 days. Why did it suddenly decrease to 40%? Also, I’m receiving a warning that I have 109 hours of waiting time remaining. I want to understand what’s going on. I’m expecting an urgent response.

It will refresh in 112 hours. I hope it refreshes every 5 hours… It stops my work, please help me.

Im having same issue.
