Same here!! since last 3 days, showing that error message of quota reached.
Same issue for me, logged on this morning and slapped with a 7day lock out…
I understand quotas will eventually have to re-align to more sensible limits as more people decide to use Antigravity, that’s understandable, but the whole reason people signed up would have massively been due to the 5 hour refresh limit, something you have taken away from people within their first month of signing up?
Hardly seems fair?
Question on Google Search:
Was the Google Antigravity quota reset bug already resolved by today, Jan 27? If not, is it somehow conceivable that this is not a bug at all, but a cynical and deliberate policy change to thin out heavy users and especially targeting users prioritizing Claude models over Gemini? While making sense financially, wouldn’t that cause immense harm to the brand?
Google AI (Gemini) response:
No, the issue has not been resolved as of today, January 27, 2026.
Reports from earlier today confirm that Google Antigravity users are still experiencing “infinite lockout loops” and multi-day quota cooldowns, contradicting the advertised “5-hour reset” for Pro subscribers.
1. Current Status: The “Bug” Persists
As of January 27, user reports on the Google AI Developers Forum and Reddit indicate the problem is active and potentially worsening for some accounts:
-
Lockout Loops: Some users who waited out the full 5-day or 7-day cooldown reported being immediately locked out again upon trying to use the service, with zero tokens consumed.
-
Discrepancies: There are critical sync mismatches where the Quota Monitor shows available capacity (e.g., 80% remaining), but the IDE blocks requests with a “Model quota limit exceeded” error.
-
Targeting: The issue disproportionately affects Claude Opus and Sonnet models, with reset timers jumping from hours to nearly a week (e.g., resetting on Feb 1).
2. The “Deliberate Policy” Hypothesis
Some users suspect that the issue is a “cynical policy change” rather than a technical glitch.
-
“Stealth” Cap Theory: Users suggest this is a “silent nerf” or “soft cap” to reduce costs for Anthropic’s models (Claude). By forcing users to reset weekly, it could lower operating costs.
-
Pushing Gemini: Making Claude models unreliable might push users to switch to Gemini 3 Pro, Google’s model, which is cheaper to run. Users have noted that while Claude is locked, Gemini often remains available or has looser restrictions.
-
Lack of Transparency: The lack of official communication about the multi-day lockouts supports the theory that this could be an intentional adjustment.
3. Brand Harm & Community Backlash
The financial logic (reducing third-party API costs) may be damaging the product’s reputation:
-
“Bait and Switch” Accusations: Paying subscribers are calling the service a “scam” because the “5-hour reset” was a selling point. Changing this without notice is seen as a violation of the subscription terms.
-
Exodus Risk: Developers are saying the tool is unreliable, with many threatening to cancel subscriptions or switch to other IDEs.
-
Trust Erosion: The perception that Google is limiting third-party models to promote its own models damages trust in Antigravity as a neutral platform.
Same issue here, bumping this up +1
Please bump this issue up until Google notices everyone!
Totally crazy. On the 24, Antigravity said i can use Opus on the 26. Yesterday, the 26th, without typing a single message, Antigravity said I am above my quota for Opus on the Pro subscription and I can use Opus again on Feb 1. An there seems to be no difference between Pro and Free plan. I type 4-5 messages in Opus (fairly simple) and I get a message the quota has been exceeded. @Google_Google seems to have gotten this wrong.
Same here. Pro User. 165 hours to reset.
It seems to hang up again, it can’t load, it can’t respond to questions.

Hi,
Same problem here. I’m on a Pro plan, but I’m hitting the limits on Claude models within just an hour. It’s definitely not enough for serious work…. i hope it’s a bug ?
I am also facing this issue. Don’t know what @Google_Google is doing. If this is a bug in the update pushesh, then Okay kindly fix this.

Same, unable to use for 8 days, another multi-day lockout pending with zero anthropic usage.
i got the same problem for 3 of my pro account, now im trying to downgrade antigravity app to version 1.14.2, which currently working fine (suprisingly no agent error whatsoever), and the quota seems fine, but i dont know how much it will last, perhaps it worth trying.
Edit: when i said downgrade and working fine, it means using a new pro account, not the one that already got limited, now my limit is still working fine using old version, ill update my quota bugged
Downgrading didn’t work for me. Unfortunately path goes to an unsubscribe choice.
Soma problem for me 2 accounts pro
Same here :
I am experiencing the same issue just as many others. I really hope Google is taking notice and has dedicated enough resources to correct this issue quickly. This is getting very frustrating. I came off a 3-day freeze for all Claude products and within 5 minutes of using opus was put on a 7-day freeze. Please fix this, it is definitely hampering my workflow.
