I cannot complete the GitHub connection in Google AI Studio.
My existing repository is shown in the GitHub panel, but AI Studio keeps asking me to “Sign in to GitHub to continue.”
Clicking the sign-in button opens GitHub’s settings page for the already-installed Google AI Studio app. It does not complete the connection, and I cannot push changes from AI Studio.
What I have checked:

The signed-in GitHub account owns the repository.

The Google AI Studio GitHub app is installed with “All repositories” access.

Manually updating the existing GitHub repository still triggers a successful Vercel deployment.
What I have tried:

Refreshing and hard-refreshing AI Studio.

Opening the same project in an incognito window.

Allowing third-party cookies.

Revoking the Google AI Studio user authorization in GitHub and trying to sign in again.

Trying “Import from GitHub” from a new app, which leads to the same installed-app settings page.
In DevTools, the GetGitHubAuthStatus request returned HTTP 200 with response [1]. I do not know what this response means.
I have backed up my source code as a ZIP. I have not uninstalled or suspended the GitHub app or disconnected the existing repository.
How can I restore the AI Studio–GitHub connection while preserving my existing project, repository history, and Vercel integration? Please let me know what additional diagnostic information would help.
