Hi Google AI Studio team,
I’m experiencing a GitHub authentication/sync issue in Google AI Studio Build Mode.
My project is already connected to my GitHub repository:
Repository: jaikishan123/reflectai-journal
Branch: main
However, when I use the GitHub sync/push functionality, AI Studio shows:
“Sign in to GitHub to continue”
When I click Sign in to GitHub, GitHub authentication completes successfully and I am returned to AI Studio, but AI Studio still shows the exact same “Sign in to GitHub to continue” screen.
I have already verified that:
- The Google AI Studio GitHub App is installed
- The App has read/write access to code and the required permissions
- Repository access is set to All repositories
- The repository is already visible and connected in AI Studio
- I have tried refreshing AI Studio
- I have tried authenticating with GitHub again
Expected: After successful GitHub authentication, AI Studio should recognize the GitHub session and allow me to push my current workspace changes.
Actual: Authentication appears to succeed, but AI Studio does not recognize the authenticated session and continues asking me to sign in.
I cannot push the latest changes through the built-in GitHub integration.
I have been troubleshooting this issue for several hours across multiple days, but the GitHub authentication loop still persists.
I’ve attached a screenshot showing the GitHub App permissions and the AI Studio GitHub panel.
Could you please check whether this is an AI Studio-side GitHub OAuth/session issue and advise on how to reset or fix the connection?
