Getting 429 Error on Gemini 2.5 Pro Free Tier (Never used it today)

Hi everyone,

I’m having a strange issue with the Gemini 2.5 Pro API.

Even though I am on the Free Tier, I keep getting a 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error whenever I try to use the gemini-2.5-pro model.

The weirdest part is: I haven’t successfully sent a single request yet. The error message says: Quota exceeded for metric ... limit: 0, model: gemini-2.5-pro

Gemini-2-5-pro model isn’t available on the Free Tier. It says in the response that you have a limit of 0.
