We use the Gemini Developer API and need authoritative provider information for a Meta App Review data-processing disclosure. This question concerns the Developer API, not Vertex AI or the consumer Gemini app.
Where can we find the current, service-specific list of countries where API prompts, responses, uploaded content and related service logs may be processed, stored or accessed remotely, including access by Google affiliates, support personnel and subprocessors?
Please clarify:
- The applicable countries and legal entities, including remote support access and subprocessor locations, and the effective date of the list.
- Any differences between paid API services with active Cloud Billing and unpaid services.
- How a customer based in Brazil can identify the applicable Google contracting entity and the data-processing/subprocessor documentation covering this API.
- If a complete country list is not published, the appropriate official channel for obtaining a written answer for a provider disclosure.
We reviewed https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms and Google Data Processing Terms - Subprocessor Information but could not identify a complete Gemini Developer API-specific country list. A general list of available API regions or Google data centers would not clarify all processing and remote-access locations.
