We are preparing the data processor section of Meta App Review for an application using the Gemini Developer API at generativelanguage.googleapis.com/v1beta for advertising media transcription and creative assistance. This question concerns the Gemini Developer API, not Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise or consumer Gemini.
Meta requires us to select individually every country in which the service provider will process Platform Data received from Meta, including locations from which its personnel or subprocessors can access that data remotely over the internet. The form does not offer a Global option or a free-text alternative.
Please provide the current applicable country list, or an official maintained source for it, covering model inference, uploaded files, caches, prompt/response and abuse-monitoring logs, storage, technical support, remote access by authorized personnel and relevant subprocessors. Please distinguish Paid Services and Unpaid Services if their geographic scopes differ. If no exhaustive country list is published, please identify the authoritative team or private support route that can confirm the service’s permitted processing and remote-access countries.
The Gemini API Terms and processor DPA describe possible processing where Google or its agents/subprocessors maintain facilities. We found Google office and data-center directories, but these do not identify an exhaustive Gemini-specific processing or remote-access footprint. The DPA-linked subprocessor directory does not currently have a Gemini API entry. We are seeking service-level geographic scope, not a trace of individual requests. No API key, account identifier or customer data is needed to answer this general documentation question.
