Editting GitHub post-submission?

I plan to continue working on my project for other purposes after the submission deadline. I want to ensure that the judges review the correct version of my code.

Is it acceptable to provide a hyperlink to the specific commit that I used for the competition submission? I plan to put the hyperlink on the readme.

I intend to keep committing changes after the deadline, but I’ll explicitly inform the judges to refer to the code in this specific commit, which was made before the deadline.

I think it would be safer to clone your repository, so that you have one that is for the judges and one for your personal use that you continue.

Judges will likely just see the code at or before the deadline due date if the code is being updated afterwards on GitHub public repositories.

As for zipped files code repository submissions, if Google drive says the file was uploaded after the due date, they would likely disqualify the submission.
