Is it just me or did the team update its UIUX? The rerun and edit buttons are THE best UX componenents I had among all LLM chat apps…
Is there any reason to remove such useful functions?
They are still available in the AI studio. I don’t know if they ever were in the Gemini app?

Yes. I checked now, in a chat I started with Gemini 2.5 pro preview several days ago. The buttons appear when I hover over a prompt. This is on desktop.
