Dear Google Support / Developer Relations Team,

My name is Tuan, an IT graduate and developer based. I am writing to appeal an apparent automated restriction on my Google AI Studio / Google Cloud account regarding the Gemini API Free Tier.

The Issue:
Whenever I create a new API Key in a fresh project on AI Studio, I immediately encounter a 429 RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error on my first or second request. The error logs clearly show “quota_limit_value”: “0”, indicating that the Free Tier quota was never provisioned for my project.

My Use Case:
I am currently building a system engine utilizing Node.js and Python. My architecture combines technical analysis with LLM-based reasoning for the futures data. I specifically need the Gemini API to test the reasoning component of this architecture within a localized testing environment.

Technical Details:

Model used: gemini-1.5-flash

Region in error log: asia-east1

I suspect my account may have been incorrectly flagged by the automated anti-abuse system. I am fully willing to provide any additional identity verification or project repository access required to lift this shadowban.

Could you please review my account status and reinstate the standard Free Tier quota so I can continue my development?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Best regards,

According to https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/changelog, gemini-1.5-flash was shut down September 29, 2025. So its endpoint is no longer available.

It still said “Unavailable”

Please do remember that I cross your Google cloud and your Google AI platforms you have to sync all your projects and allow user access and so forth because even if you have an API key 20 projects or linked to any accounts you might still have some troubles

Usually, they offer a few trial periods, but in my case, it locked me right away the first time I created an API, as if it were restricted. This was because I still had a free tier limit the day before.
