Hello Google AI / Gemini API Team,
I am requesting a manual review of my Gemini API Free Tier access.
Google AI Studio does not allow me to use Gemini, even for a simple message such as “Hello”. When I try to send a message, it immediately shows “Upgrade to unlock more” and directs me to paid billing options.
My project is shown as:
Project name: Default Gemini Project
Billing tier: Free tier
Monthly spend: —
Status: blank
I do not want to enable paid billing. I would like to use the eligible Free Tier.
I have already signed out and signed back into Google AI Studio, but the problem remains.
Could you please check whether my Google account or project has been restricted from Free Tier access and manually review the restriction?
I would appreciate it if you could restore Free Tier access if there is no policy or security issue with my account.
