We are currently on Gemini API Paid Tier 3.
Billing Account ID: 0143DE-B1CF76-******
However, Google AI Studio is showing:
“Unable to load billing account tier cap”
and we are also seeing the following warning:
“You’ve reached the billing account tier cap and service has been paused.”
Our actual Gemini API usage for the current month is well below the documented minimum Tier 3 spend cap of $20,000, and our Gemini API requests are currently still working normally.
We are concerned that there may be an incorrect billing tier/cap status or a backend synchronization issue that could unexpectedly pause our production service.
Could you please verify:

The actual billing account tier spend cap assigned to our account

Whether our billing account is currently flagged as having reached the tier cap

Why AI Studio is unable to load our billing account tier cap

Whether there is any risk of our Gemini API service being unexpectedly paused
This Gemini API is being used in a production service, so we would appreciate it if you could check the billing account status as soon as possible.

This issue has been resolved
Please refresh Google AI Studio to confirm that your billing tier status and limits now display properly. If you continue to see any warnings, please let us know.

My Google AI Studio Build Mode application is ready to publish.
When I select Publish → Get Started, the Confirm project and billing screen only shows:
Default Gemini Project — No billing setup
The only available options are Set up billing and Refresh.
The Google Cloud Starter Tier option is missing.
According to the current Google AI Studio documentation, eligible users can publish up to 2 full-stack applications using the Starter Tier without setting up Google Cloud billing.
I have already refreshed the Publish screen and the Starter Tier option still does not appear.
Please check whether the Google Cloud Starter Tier deployment entitlement has been provisioned for my account/project and restore the Starter Tier publishing option.
I do not want to enable paid Cloud Billing solely to publish this application.

Not all accounts are eligible for The Starter Tier. Please check out the caveats mentioned in the Google AI Studio deployment documentation. Eligibility is determined automatically, and we cannot review Starter Tier access manually.
You might want to consider linking a Cloud Billing account to your project.
