I’m trying to make a Pets Go game, and I need to use Google’s AI Studio to do it because Gemini breaks whenever I ask a simple thing about the project, but Google AI Studio as of recently started erroring out whenever I have it generate the full code. “Something went wrong” “An error occurred when generating” etc.
I’ve had to keep regenerating responses because of this, and it’s making me excessively use my quota for it. I haven’t exceeded the quota so it hasn’t been an urgent issue, but it is still incredibly annoying.

The issue still occurs. It does not happen with large chats that have big token counts, it happens when I ask it to generate a lot of code at once.

I would recommend giving detailed step by step instructions in prompt to get better results. As more precise and step by step instructions help models perform better.

I also encountered the same problem. There was an error when I talked to the code assistant when build apps in ai studio, but I reported the error after the daily quota of gemini 2.5 Pro model on ai studio page was used up, so I guess it may be the reason of rate limitation.When I use the paid plan, ai studio still seems to use the free rate limit. If possible, can you add the limited display and quota usage of ai studio Studio to the system quota and limit? This will facilitate me to locate the problem.
After experimenting, it happens when you give the AI a prompt that is at least >=40K tokens, and the output requires the AI to get close to the maximum output length tokens which is 65K, but it does not exceed it.
Error still happens. It happens when giving the AI a lot of instructions.
Could you please share you prompts and your AI studio configration with me, so that I can try to reproduce?
Sure thing. Allow me a little bit as I did delete them since I didn’t want them taking up google drive storage, but I can make new ones where it errors.
