Long system instructions completely hang the operation. Already 100k tokens of system instructions is painful. In Build in apps, however, there’s no such problem—I tested even 500k and it ran smoothly. So this is your fault, some detail is escaping you.

I don’t know about the system prompt problem, but I can confirm the scrolling and editing input/output problems. AI Studio is pretty much unusable today…
Throw any random text of 20k, 50k, 100k, 200k into the system instructions and check if the interface is working. Unfortunately, something got broken.
Don’t forget about Chat History working very poorly, especially on mobile phones, even if it got marginally better recently. It’s absurd that this has been happening since early september and has still not been fixed
Is anyone testing this interface? Editing is so frustrating it’s maddening. When you scroll the window, messages just jump around, and you can’t even edit message N6 because it immediately jumps to N1, and so on.
The first one is the worst for me honestly.

System instructions are working poorly. When a large amount of text is added, the entire AI studio just freezes. I’m not talking about I don’t know 100 lines, but for example 5000-10000. After system instructions were moved from the top to the right menu, they don’t work well. Tested on 6 browsers.
