I’m not sure what happened, but since about a few days ago, chat history in AI Studio takes a long time to load in properly and function on PC browsers, while on my phone, it’s straight up unresponsive and just freezes the website.
Does anyone else have this issue as well?
Getting the same issue on my end. Using Drive does work but annoying.

Could you delete your browser cache and retry? Please inform us if the problem continues.
I have cleared browser cache on both my phone and my PC, and I see no change in performance of the chat history, it’s still slow on PC and unusable on my phone
Did you solv the issue? Aistudio improved it’s bugs so far… most of it lol. Maye it could be possible to use ssd-hd-space just 4 Aistudio, just ehat Xiaomi did to it’s Ram-Ext. to improve ai performance. 
Nope, the chat history in AI Studio is still more or less slow on PC (but usable), whereas on phone it’s still virtually nonfunctional, and I need to use a clunky workaround of opening google drive in web browser on my phone to access previous AI Studio chats on my phone. I hoped that by this time this problem would be solved because it does not seem to be on my end.
I have noticed people encountering another set of issues related to chat history/library ( [BUG] Google Drive deep-links to AI Studio now open Library (not the target conversation) + Drive import returns “Failed to convert file and The "My history" page on the Google AI Studio website is empty, while the project files themselves are correctly saved in Google Drive ), with the issue of being unable to open earlier chats from Google Drive also affecting me, which makes it even harder to access previous chats in AI Studio when stacked on top of the huge performance/loading issues with the chat history/library page itself, when will all of that get fixed?
While the google drive workaround was fixed recently, the chat history/library is still performing horribly, and it’s still unusable on phone.
Does anyone else still experience this issue?

Hello @Elevatorisbest , this performance issue is typically caused by a large chat history that becomes difficult for browsers, especially on mobile, to load and display.
Try opening AI Studio in an Incognito or Private browsing window. If it loads quickly, the problem is your chat history.
On your PC, try deleting several old or very long chat histories that you no longer need.
After cleaning up your history, refresh the page on both your PC and phone to see if the performance has returned to normal.
As an additional step on your PC, you can try temporarily disabling all browser extensions to ensure one is not causing a conflict.
