Hello! I have a problem with Nano Banana, and I can’t find a solution for it in the search.
The problem is this: I have been generating illustrations for my book without any problems since the beginning of September using the Google AI Studio interface. However, yesterday I was unable to do so — the “Try Nano Banana” button does not respond to clicks. I am attaching a screenshot of what it looks like. In all previous cases, when I clicked on the “Try Nano Banana” button, I was taken to a chat with Nano Banana, but now this is not happening. I am not a developer and do not understand anything about APIs, I just worked with images, so I do not understand what happened. Is Nano Banana now unavailable? What could be the problem and how can I get back to working on my illustrations?
Additional information: I tried clicking on the “Try Nano Banana” button in two browsers, from two different personal Google accounts, but the button still does not open the chat with Nano Banana when clicked. I cleared my cookies and cache, I don’t use a VPN or proxy, and I live in the EU.
Please, can someone tell me what the problem is and how I can get back to working on my project?

I have checked this on my side, and the Nano Banana is working as expected. This may have been a temporary issue. Could you please confirm if you are still experiencing the issue?
It sounds like the Nano Banana starter in AI Studio may currently be experiencing an outage or has been temporarily removed from the UI. First, check the Google AI Studio release notes and the Google Workspace Status Dashboard to see if there’s any announced downtime or deprecation. If nothing is listed, try signing out and back in to AI Studio, then open the Templates or Starter Kits section directly from the left navigation to see if Nano Banana is still available there. If the starter no longer appears, it may have been retired, in which case you can recreate a similar project by starting a new chat model in AI Studio and configuring it with similar prompts/settings. For confirmation, you can also post in the official Google AI Studio support channel so the product team can verify the current availability.
