Claude Opus 4.7 just dropped — when can we expect it in Antigravity

Anthropic just released Claude Opus 4.7 and the benchmarks look incredible — major jumps in reasoning, code generation, and multi-step agentic tasks.

  1. Is Claude Opus 4.7 on the roadmap for Antigravity’s model selector?

  2. Any estimated timeline? Days, weeks?

Would love to hear from the team or anyone with insider knowledge. :rocket:

For what reason?

Just to see «Error Our servers are experiencing high traffic right now, please try again in a minute.»?

:joy: You got me there. But hey — at least when the servers finally let us through, we’d have the best model waiting on the other side of the queue. :man_shrugging:

nahhh

this is the way

Would be very happy if Opus 4.7 got supported.

Did anyone get rid of that error with anti-gravity related to high traffic demands?

i think hours or days. they added 4.6 very quickly after release.

Oh, this is interesting (from the announcement):

Instruction following. Opus 4.7 is substantially better at following instructions. Interestingly, this means that prompts written for earlier models can sometimes now produce unexpected results: where previous models interpreted instructions loosely or skipped parts entirely, Opus 4.7 takes the instructions literally. Users should re-tune their prompts and harnesses accordingly.

Hi All,

We appreciate your request to bring Claude Opus 4.7 to Antigravity. We will be submitting an internal feature request and will provide updates as they become available on the console.

I’d love to get it asap also. I’m surprised it’s not yet there…

Let’s talk about it if they can solve one problem first
Our servers are experiencing high traffic right now, please try again in a minute.

any updates? …………………………….

I’d hope Google is prioritizing a usable product release before expanding “functionality.” The promise of frontend QA capabilities drew me to Antigravity for a trial run. What an absolute disaster. Retrying prompts endlessly due to API timeouts and when I manage to make any progress, the frontend tool is “unavailable.” I’ll stick with Claude- no need to wait for a new release.

Please give us feedback regarding the outages; we are all desperate and canceling our plans. Google needs an urgent response!

Nope. Been dealing with it for what seems like all month. I just keep clicking retry…

Can you also please submit something to fix the server issues everyone is talking about and dealing with? It’s kind of annoying and wastes our credits. I’ve noticed since these server errors I run out of my plan A LOT faster and then have to wait hours to work more…It’s crazy to pay $250/month to be constantly kicked off of the connection due to the server apparently being overloaded.

You already have!

Don’t you see this message? “Our servers are experiencing high traffic right now, please try again in a minute.”

This means you have Opus 4.7

yeah, it … paying $250/mth and being put on the shelf… despite it being on vertex. Heck even other IDEs have it running already. What happened to Gemini 3.1? Do they even care anymore?

6 days later …. still nothing.
Do they really want us to switch all to Cursor ?

For anyone facing the retry bug, i think the last version has the fix try it!

For Opus-4.7 i think will be available in the starting of May
