Antigravity still on Claude Opus 4.6 a week after 4.7 shipped

Opus 4.7 dropped on April 16. Cursor had it in the model picker the same day. Claude Code ships it natively. It’s been a week and Antigravity’s still capped at 4.6.

This one stings because it’s not just a version bump. Opus 4.7 has the new xhigh effort tier, better agentic reliability, and 128k output tokens. For anyone running complex multi-file tasks, that’s a real capability gap between Antigravity and every other tool right now.

The timing makes it worse. Opus 4.6 has been throwing 503 capacity errors regularly. So the model we do have access to is unreliable, and the upgrade that might help is sitting right there on Vertex AI, available through the same infrastructure Antigravity already runs on.

I get that model onboarding isn’t instant, but a week with zero communication about timeline is rough. Even a “we’re working on it, ETA next week” would change the temperature here completely.
