[Bug Report] Takeout pipeline omits "Google AI Studio" Drive directory (0 files exported in Google Drive)

Hi Google AI DevRel and Engineering Team,

I am reporting an edge-case backend defect in the Google Takeout export pipeline regarding Google AI Studio developer workspace data and prompts stored in Google Drive.

Summary of the Issue:

When executing a Google Takeout export to retrieve Google Drive assets, the automated archive pipeline completely fails to bundle developer prompts created in Google AI Studio, resulting in “0 files exported successfully” for the Google Drive partition, even though auto-sync was active and the files existed.

System Environment:

• Platform: Google AI Studio (aistudio.google.com)

• Storage Backend: Google Drive (Google AI Studio workspace folder)

• Tool: Google Takeout (Data Portability Service)

• Affected Account Identifier: Available via DM to verified Google Staff

Steps to Reproduce / Symptoms:

1. An account triggers the data recovery/Takeout export workflow.

2. Takeout generates the data archive.

3. Standard consumer partitions (such as Gmail mbox) export normally.

4. However, the Google Drive archive fails to package the internal application-scoped directory (Google AI Studio), delivering a virtually empty folder or “0 files”.

5. Consequently, extensive developer prompts, system instructions, structured multi-turn sessions, and JSON configurations are entirely omitted from the delivered archive.

Clarification:

I fully understand and acknowledge that this developer forum does NOT handle general Google Account authentication or status reviews. I am strictly NOT asking to dispute or alter any account status here.

My inquiry is strictly technical: pursuant to standard data portability principles, an account service interruption should not break the backend data packaging pipeline itself for user-generated engineering assets.

Could an AI Studio Community Manager or DevRel engineer please look into this backend Drive-to-Takeout integration flaw, and advise how affected developers can receive a proper manual dump or re-indexed export of their trapped AI Studio JSON files?

Thank you for your engineering support and time.
