Critical: Lost Google AI Studio Chat History - Files Missing from Google Drive
I am experiencing critical data loss within Google AI Studio. Multiple important chat histories have disappeared from my “My history” list in the UI, and the corresponding raw JSON data files are completely missing from the designated “Google AI Studio” folder in my Google Drive. They are also not in my Google Drive Trash/Bin.

Date of Incident: The chats disappeared sometime around 14th November - 30th December, 2025 (based on the timestamps of related files in my drive).

Actions Taken: I was actively using the chat feature and shared files (like a .pdf and .wav file) with the AI during the conversations.

Troubleshooting Steps:

Checked AI Studio “My history” (chats are gone).

Checked Google Drive “Google AI Studio” folder (files are not there).

Checked Google Drive Trash/Bin (files are not there).

Attempted to “Open with” AI Studio from Drive (option unavailable/irrelevant as files are missing).
