Aren't the AI Credits supposed to refill monthly?

I am a Ultra-tier user, and my AI credits ran out in May. I have not gotten any refill since then, even though I’m still subscribed?

I’ve tried asking in multiple (Google-operated) Discord servers, and written through the “Provide Feedback”-option in Antigravity, but haven’t received any adequate answer.

Hi @FT83, welcome to the forum!

The behavior you are observing is actually the expected result of how Google AI subscriptions manage usage within Antigravity:

  1. The monthly credit grants in Google AI subscriptions apply specifically to Flow products (Flow Credits). Antigravity AI credits are strictly used for overages (purchased ad-hoc or one-time promotional credits).
  2. Your Ultra subscription provides direct access to high-tier models via rolling quota windows (refreshed every 5 hours, alongside higher weekly caps) rather than a monthly depletable balance. Because of this, seeing 0 Credits is the standard behavior under this billing model.

As long as your model requests are going through, your account is working as intended! If you ever hit your rolling usage limits, here are a few workarounds:

  • Switch to Flash models in the model selector for routine tasks, saving top-tier reasoning models for heavy logic work.
  • Ultra quotas reset on a 5-hour rolling cycle, automatically restoring full access.
  • If you need continuous usage beyond your plan limits, you can purchase additional credits at Google One AI Credits and set “AI Credit Overages” to “Always” in your Antigravity settings.

Thanks for clearing that up! Makes complete sense now.

I should’ve been more frugal with the 50k credits I had
