Appeal request: `agy`-"This service has been disabled in this account for violation of Terms of Service"

Hi Google Personnel:

I’d like to kindly request your help in reviewing why I was banned. I got this warning while agy was half-way working on coding. Since March 2026, I have been using my Pro subscription’s Google OAuth only with agy, Antigravity IDE, and Antigravity 2.0 GUI apps. I installed jochenkirstaetter/agy-statusline: Custom status line for Antigravity CLI - Codeberg.org today, which AFAIK does not constitute “third party harness” or "proxy routing of Gemini API, violating TOS.

Please kindly review and restore my account access. You’ll find the error messages below. Many thanks!

I am in the same situation. This occurred while I was using the Antigravity CLI.
I was only using the Antigravity IDE and CLI.
I did not use it with any third-party products.
Could you please lift the restriction?

+1, suddenly received this 403 TOS violation. No 3rd party abuse service. Not sure if this is a large round false positive check.

+1, same here this morning.

I’ve never used third-party tools or any other means to access the CLI, only the official IDE.

Prior to the Antigravity 2.0 release, my account was frequently hit with multi-day lockouts. Now I’m completely banned without any warning or email (though I can still access Gemini Web and AI Studio, which I never even used).

I hope they fix my account soon, as I still have six months of a prepaid Pro subscription left.

I’m noticing a lot of similar threads popping up in both the Antigravity and Gemini CLI sections of this forum…

Me as well. And I can’t find any link to appeal. No emails have been sent to me, and I cannot even login in the either the IDE or CLI, so feel a bit stuck

+1 Same here. Just got banned. No warnings, no e-mails. Made an appeal on the Google Forms document, still got no answers. Never used any third party app to circumvent Antigravity.

Same here. Didnt even use the CLI (Gemini nor Antigravity) until now. Just wanted to try it but already banned for whatever reason. No further information

This just happened to me too this morning. I’ve never used a third party tool with my Gemini/Antigravity login, and the only automation I’ve ever done was with gemini-cli -p which hasn’t even ran in some time (since I didn’t migrate that to agy yet and gemini-cli is discontinued). Did we get a bad false-positive ban wave? I went ahead and did the appear form as well as submit feedback with logs/a screenshot.

I hope this gets fixed up soon.

It looks like strict enforcement enabled for everyone, time to UNSUBSCRIBE for the gemini plan. This is nuts. Why give cli if we cannot use it?!

+1
i was not using any 3rd party apps. i did use use ‘agy -p’ for a few tasks on my home computer…

I used agy a couple of times in the last week. Never went beyond 1% of allocated usage - that’s how light my usage was. Never used agy outside the IDE / UI. Not sure what ToS violation I committed.

I also start seeing this error today.

Does it mean that using the agy -p "Prompt" called from any other process is the violation of the ToS? And how to make automations in this case?

I also encountered this situation. I only used it within the agy ide, without using the CLI or any other third-party tools.

Same here, my account was banned, even though I used antigravity according to the rules. It’s strange, really.

24 hours since i was banned.
Still banned.

As of yesterday:

  • 0 emails from support, 0 confirmation emails after the submission of the “Appeal Form”
  • I still don’t know what i was banned for.
  • As a backup, i bought another subscription with a different provider (Yes Google, i’m also using agentic harnesses at work! i hope this will be solved within a month? maybe or maybe not! who knows?)

I noticed that no one is answering on this forum to address this ban wave, which makes me fear that this forum is not the right place to ask support.

A few other considerations:

A stranger on the web (which is a dev nevertheless, but this is not important right?) is trying to explain you why this way of managing account bans is terrible.

  • Total lack of warnings before the actual ban: Users should be warned in advance (via email?). Maybe with a strike system? “Hey! You are using X, Y, Z software that isn’t compliant with Antigravity. Please stop using them!”. If something changes on the backend and software, integrations, or anything else installed on my PC becomes non-compliant, send me an email IN ADVANCE.
  • This way of managing communications with customers should be similar to how cloud platforms already manage infrastructure changes. They send you an email IN ADVANCE, granting you enough room to modify your workflow to be compliant.
  • Total lack of communication upon being banned: No one alerted me that I was banned. I simply discovered it when I opened the IDE yesterday!
  • Handling review requests like a generic survey: The form you redirect users to does not help them understand what is happening. Plus, it’s only accessible through the IDE? Just two checkboxes to fill and a button to send the request. As per the previous two points, could you at least SEND AN EMAIL after the form submission? Just to inform the user.

This entire process is quite opaque to the user. It’s managed as if we were free-tier users, who, ironically, are much more protected from these automatic ban waves, since they can simply create a new account.

We can’t.

I paid in advance, and at the moment i feel like I’ve thrown away half the price of my subscription.

[Resolved]

I have not yet received a reply from Google Support, but the account restrictions have been lifted.
I am happy to be able to use the account again, but since the cause remains unknown, I am concerned that the issue might recur.

As per @irach update, I can access Antigravity again this morning. Obviously, 0 emails to notify me that I was unbanned.

A 48-hour ban and I still don’t know the exact reason for it.

Now I’m scared to run the AG IDE on my work laptop. Since I still don’t know what I was banned for, I’m going to set up a minimal VM just to ensure this wasn’t caused by a conflict with other software installed on my PC.
