My Google AI Studio project is currently showing:
Project Status: Restricted
Billing Tier: Unavailable
Every Gemini API generateContent request returns:
HTTP 403 PERMISSION_DENIED
“Your project has been denied access. Please contact support.”
I am developing a low-volume educational college project called Campus Guardian, a campus lost-and-found application.
I would like to use the Gemini API Free Tier and do not want to enable paid billing or prepayment.
I have configured the Gemini API and tested the API request directly. The request reaches Google’s API, but the project is denied access.
Please manually review my project/account and restore Free Tier Gemini API access if I am eligible.
I have not included my API key or any other private credentials.
