Always 429 when I request gemini API

Hi team,

I am writing to report a severe and intermittent API issue. I am a Tier 1 (Paid) user, primarily using gemini-3-pro and gemini-3-flash.

Issue Description: Over the past 48 hours, my API requests have become extremely unstable. I am frequently receiving 429 Resource Exhausted errors, even though my AI Studio dashboard shows that I am well within my RPM, TPM, and RPD limits. It feels as if my requests are being throttled to a rate lower than even the Free Tier (sometimes only 1 successful request per hour).

Key Details:

  • Account Tier: Tier 1 (Paid)

  • Models affected: Gemini 3 Pro / Gemini 3 Flash

  • Behavior: Dashboard shows usage is far below the red line, but the API returns 429 errors or server timeouts.

  • Timing: This has been happening consistently since Feb 19-20.

I suspect my project might be affected by the “Tier 1 identity degradation” bug where paid accounts are incorrectly routed or limited. Could an engineer please look into my project status?

Same. Facing severe inconsistency today (Feb 24th). It’s a paid account with CC bills paid in full. Please review and check asap
