Aistudio is not persisting anything - it says what id does, but nothing changes

I’m using a project for months, app in production. Now, the IDE stopped working : the agent says what it did, but NO CODE is changed. Tried small simple change, tried refresh, reopen, etc.

I fixed the issue starting a new chat, project IDE, “+” on the right top of chat panel.
