Can't make any changes to the app I prototyped

I have been using AI Studio Build to prototype a few applications. Love it until it broke. I can no longer make any changes to the app (not deployed yet) even if it was a very small one. The conversation in the chat went very well as my instructions were all well understood and the summary of the changes looked great. Yet nothing was reflected in the preview. Got stuck here. Would like to hear your solution if you’ve experienced this before.

I’m facing the same problem… Honestly, not sure what to do next.
I hope they fix this quickly.

It’s very frustrating. Have been working all day and not one commit.

Oh, okay I just told it to commit all .ts files to Github and it worked.

If it’s a problem with code sent in chat, I solved it by sharing the code with my wife’s Google account, and I can edit it for her, and all the code is perfectly reflected in my account. I believe this was a problem caused by an accumulation of messages in chat.

yesterday I did try again to change some small things and at least the one app worked again for me. Maybe its on googles site and theres nothing you can do, except for having a bit of patience. Its a new feature and they giving it out for free, so I guess later when its a paid service, they gonna increase on GPU Power and so on.

Things seem improving. I started typing in “Changes are reflected in preview”. Worked for a few times.

I’m having the same problem. Don’t know how to fix it. I’ve tried all the suggestions in these chats. Nothing works.

Hello All,

I tried to replicate the issue on my end, but I wasn’t able to reproduce the error—everything is updating correctly for me, its may be a temporary issue.
Please try opening AI Studio in Incognito mode or clearing your browser cache.

If the problem persists, please let me know. Additionally, if you could provide the exact prompt you used, I can investigate further on my end.

thanks

That has happened to me a few times, but I just tell it something like “it doesn’t seem like you actually implemented any changes based off what I requested,” then it will retry and that always seems to work.

It’s been like working with the memory impaired. Keeps forgetting it already made changes and does them again. The worst is when I explicitly tell it not to touch something and it does anyway. Now it’s so bloated takes at least 15 seconds for my keystroke to show up. And as I type this GitHub is no longer seeing any changes. Spent hours trying to solve this as no commits are possible. A delightful experience…..

Hello @St_Michael_the_Archa , @Glenn_Les ,

apologies for the delayed response. We completely understand your frustration with these issues.

To help us investigate, could you let us know which specific model you are using?

Also, could you elaborate a bit more on the problem? about GitHub sync and latency issue.

thanks

Thanks for your response. I figured out the issue. Was that Google AI studio was using so much resources. It effectively knocked everything out. The AI became senile would make changes from two weeks ago when I asked for updates it also took about 30 seconds for my key strokes to show up in the box and in the process get hub got really messed up as well. I had to move to cursor so I was not to use webpage resources, but my computer resources instead, I wasn’t aware of the limiting power working with Google studio could pose. Not your fault just something that the massive LLMs end up causing.
Anyway, the switch to cursor is done, so I’m no longer in need of help restoring that connection. I appreciate the response.
