AI Studio Build shows quota exceeded, but only used 1–2 times

Hello, I am running into a quota issue while using Google AI Studio Build.

Today, I only made about 1–2 Build modifications in this project—I did not perform any bulk generations or repeatedly generate images.

I was simply testing the video poster interaction flow for Phase 05. After viewing a generated poster and clicking “Dislike” once, the system began displaying:

“配額已用完,請稍後再試。” (“Quota exhausted, please try again later.”)
and/or
“You are out of generations for this project.”

This does not align with my actual usage.

I would like to clarify the following:

  1. Exactly which quota has run out?
  2. Is this the AI Studio Build generation quota, the Gemini API quota, a project quota, or another restriction?
  3. Why does it indicate that I have run out of generations after only 1–2 actions?
  4. Will this situation incur any charges?
  5. If there are charges, where can I check them?

I prefer not to enable billing or a paid plan just to resolve this issue, as I first need to confirm which specific quota triggered the problem.

Please help me verify whether this is an AI Studio Build project quota, an account restriction, or a system issue.

I can provide screenshots and a screen recording of the issue if needed.

Hi @jimmy590614590614 ,

Please review the following details and next steps:

  • Check if your generation limits reset the next day (after 24 hours).
  • Check if the quota exhausted notification appears on a remixed application or a newly created project as well.
  • Provide your associated Applet ID and account email address via direct message.
  • Free-tier accounts do not incur any charges for generations, even after reaching the quota limit.

Thank you!

Hi Mahesh,

The quota limitation is still occurring. Please help me check whether the daily quota will reset after 24 hours, and whether the quota issue may be related to this app/project.
Thank you for your assistance
